Government Gone Overboard!

California Governor Jerry Brown proudly signed into law the School Success and Opportunity Act  (AB1266) yesterday afternoon.

It amends California’s education code for a singular purpose:

Require that a pupil be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, and use facilities consistent with his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil’s records

Yup… that’s right! No joke.

Boys will now be permitted to do their business in the girl’s bathroom if they identify themselves as being female.

They can also play sports on the girls teams regardless of biology.

Works both ways for girls to. That’s it. There is no more and no less.

Conclusions

Do transgender students suffer from discrimination and school yard bullying? No doubt. Should that be allowed? No! Should school officials prevent transgender mistreatment? Absolutely!

Does this new California law help with any of that? Absolutely not!

Were the rights and opinions of affected heterosexual students considered? Of course not!

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg made it unlawful to serve 7-Eleven Big Gulps in NYC.
That’s dumb.

Governor “Moon Beam” Brown mandates allowance of transgender expressions.
That’s exceptionally dumb.

Both cases are ludicrous examples of the overreach and waste of government resources.
